Ahimsa Beyond Ourselves - Sticker

This drawing features Han, a hamster from our community, who carries the message of active compassion, a commitment to reducing suffering, whether human, animal or environmental, and to recognizing that all forms of life are interconnected.

What does "Ahimsa must extend beyond ourselves" mean? It means that non-violence, compassion and care should not stop at our own borders, our own species or our comfort zone. It reminds us that kindness is meant to extend outwards, to every living being and every community affected by suffering.

All donations generated by this sticker (after paper costs) will be given to the Canadian Red Cross Nepal Flash Floods Appeal. To find out more about this initiative, visit redcross.ca.
